Logic Puzzles App Reviews

This app has a nice interface and many of the previous problems with puzzles have been fixed. However, there are occassional puzzles where assumptions need to be made (like Alex being a male name), ambiguous wording (John is not Mr. Smith, who is the one that came in 4th), certain information may need to be looked up (GM makes Buicks), and occasional misspellings (poinson instead of poison, preformed instead of performed). It does at least keep track of which puzzles have been completed. Its nice to see that they are continually working to improve it.

As others have stated, a clue will say "x is not y or z" but at the end, x will be z. Disappointing app all around.

What does the store do?

Pretty good app. I assume the bugs have been worked out; I had no problems with any of the puzzles. Hoping for more.

Im trying to get volume 2 and its telling me it cant download it because I dont have 4.3 but iTunes is telling me 4.2.6 is the most current version...what am I missing here?? Why is there no report problem link at the bottom like there is with every other app so I can at least ask somebody what is up with this..?

I would love to play this game however, it wont sync/download to my ipod saying that I need a new version of Ipod software. Well I have the latest software so Im confused? Please help.

I like the app but sometimes end up marking a square other than the one intended. I wish landscape were an option. Also, an redo button would be nice.

Hard to ignore the typos, but I do really like the puzzles and it works fine for me.

Absolutely love this app & not just because there are very few Logic Puzzle Apps. This has a LARGE selection of puzzles available (additional puzzles offered through in-app purchases) but there ARE A FEW minor, maybe even technicality issues, such as the fact that youre unable to check your progress unless youve completed or filled in the entire puzzle and Even Then all youre given is the solution to check answers. A different logic puzzle app allowed you to check whether or not your puzzle (no matter how much of it is completed) has any errors. If it does have any errors it tells you how many there are and gives you the option to erase all the errors ONLY! Lastly, instead of an open oval (0) to put into the Correct Answer Sq/Box, Id rather it be a Dot (•) would be 5 stars if didnt have these issues

I genuinely love this app, I complete at least 1 a day. But, I feel there are 2 minor issues. The grammar is a little vague at times, particularly when there is more than one clue in a sentence. Also, I think I may have found a puzzle thats incorrect. I can usually solve them in under 10 minutes, but have been unable to solve this one for weeks! Its gotta be the app, not me, right!? :)

Im glad I bought and expanded this, but it could be better. The app zooms you into an easily readable grid, but the overview screen is terrible! Its hard to read on an iPod touch with tiny print, shaded background, and meaningless grid labels. Lots of typos and one or two actual errors.

Even if I turn my volume all the way down, this app somehow plays its opening sounds FULL BLAST. It doesnt need to be there in the first place. I like to play these puzzles at times when the sound is flat out obnoxious to others around me. PLEASE, either get rid of the sound or add a way to turn it off.

I love the puzzles!!! However, more would be great!! I took off 2 stars cause its just not enough! ADD MORE PLEASE! :)

This game is great. I just have a few suggested tweaks: 1 Move the "puzzles" button to the top of the screen so you dont hit in when scrolling through a clue 2 Dont have the clues go back to the beginning every time you open a puzzle. This is especially annoying in the later two-part puzzles. Not perfect but overall a fun game. Thanks!

I cant seem to find many good logic grid puzzle apps. Ive tried several, but the simple layout & modest graphics of this app & logigrid are the ones I like best. There are misspellings & typos throughout the clues and the language can be very awkward at times. Not sure if this is app is a product that has been translated into English. I can deal with that scenario. What actually annoys me is the idea of english fluent app designers too lazy to proofread. Because of a lack of competition, this app has so far been able to capitalize on my logic puzzle addiction. Overall, the puzzles have been fun.

Tell me, friends, is 5 More Minutes among your unsolvables? Months. Its taken me months! Please tell me its their mistake, not me!!!

This app is truly missing the feature in which mistakes are marked in red giving the game player an opportunity to identify where they went wrong.

When I first bought this app, I enjoyed the puzzles a lot. Then I bought the 50-pack and have been disappointed in the number of puzzles Im finding are insolvable. I have been doing logic puzzles since I was a kid and I know how to do them, so when it first started happening, I thought I was losing my mind! But after reading some of the other reviews, I know its not me. When they work out, theyre a lot of fun, but now every time I start a new puzzle, I wonder if its going to end up with a bunch of blanks again. Its very frustrating!
