Logic Puzzles App Reviews

This is by far the best logic puzzle app I have come across. With that being said.... Improvements are needed. As others have said, the language of the clues is confusing and I find myself checking the solutions in the middle to see if Im understanding the clue correctly. Who wants to have to do that? :( I love being able to see the whole grid at once. :) I have now played through all of the $1.99 games and I guess need to purchase more but am hesitant because many reviews say they are insolvable. Not to mention.... I already paid for the app... I should not have to pay a second time! :( My recommendation would be to fix the errors, the reviews would get better and more people would buy the game, then you would not need to charge for additional games! :) PLEASE MAKE CHANGES AND YOU WILL SEE YOUR PURCHASES SKYROCKET! I promise! ;)

I havent encountered the problems mentioned in other reviews & so far have enjoyed the 10+ puzzles Ive completed!

These puzzles are my favorite to work. PunkStars format is the very best among the games of similar type, and the fully visible logic grid is what makes the difference. Ive completed the puzzles in both versions of PunkStars offering with only one problem: there arent more. I cant locate the additional content, which Id definitely buy. Hey, PunkStar - please make more content available!

While many of these puzzles were fun, there were several that either werent solvable or extremely difficult using the clues available. Many of the clues are worded poorly and one or two of the puzzles the clues contradicted the "solved" answer of the puzzle. Overall, the puzzles are fun if they work out correctly, but too many bugs/mistakes to be completely worth the money.

There should be more puzzles

There were too many grammar errors. Some of them were very hard, there were no labels for the axis which made it harder.

I love this app. Lots and lots of puzzles and you can buy more puzzles as in app purchases(I got the 50 puzzle pack for 99 cents). Very clearly laid out grid. There is a flaw but I am not taking a star away for it. There is a "check your progress" option to use while working the puzzle to see if you are off track or progressing correctly(it wont show the actual solution unless you then choose that option). I have found that this "check your progress" button ALWAYS tells you that you are incorrect EVEN WHEN YOU ARE CORRECT. Now I just ignore it and only press it when I have finished the puzzle. It WILL tell you when you have solved a puzzle correctly and put a check mark next to it on the puzzle list. It is just useless on a puzzle in progress. Not a big deal. I just solve the puzzle first then hit it. Just be aware of that bug. Otherwise no crashes or freezes or any other problem. There ARE enough clues to solve them. You just need to go back and read carefully a few times. I have solved several and found no contradictory clues or bad grammar. There IS a description of each scenario. I have been doing grid logic puzzles for years and if you have done those you will have no problem working these. I still buy logic puzzle magazines. These are EXACTLY like those in a mobile form with no pen needed. If you love the Penny Press or Dell logic puzzle magazines then you will REALLY LOVE THIS APP!!!! I think some reviewers giving bad reviews may be unfamiliar with logic puzzles or at least grid type logic puzzles.

Ive enjoyed working out these logic puzzles but the clues are poorly written. The biggest problem isnt solving the puzzles, its trying to decipher what the clue even says. That being said its pretty fun. Wish it was more than just 25.

I dont want to tap twice for every X and 3 times for Os. Much better games out there.

LogiGrid is much better. This ones layout is not consistent horizontally and vertically either. Clues are confusing. I also just think there is not enough info to actually solve, even if the language was clearer.

I love these logic problems. After reading the reviews of similar apps I chose this one. Havent tried the others but here are a few things I liked. 1. Zoom into the grid section that you wanted to fill in. 2. Auto-fill once you solved a clue. 3. Logic puzzles! A few downsides. 1. Yes, there are a couple grammar errors but these did not really hamper my solving ability. 2. Sometimes the creativity in the problems was lacking which meant it was a bit challenging as to what I was trying to solve, even once I found the description button. 3. Yes the clear button is in an inconvenient place but I think I only accidentally clearer the puzzle once due to the fail safe pop up that confirms it. All that being said, I solved all the puzzles, bought all the extras and still want more!

I love the app, easy to use with clues still there even when you zoom in on squares. Would like to be able to check partway through. Main complaint is typos that make some puzzles confusing. Game scores in one puzzle turned into dates in some places. Mrs or Mr Peacock? In another, times were 20 minutes apart, but one skipped ahead an hour, but couldnt solve it correctly until you guessed that.

Nice logic puzzle app. But the stupid noise when the app opens is VERY annoying. PLEASE remove that in the next version!

Sorry for the "3 stars" - I really enjoy this app and the puzzles. That being said, the app now blows out every time I attempt to select a puzzle with a new iPhone 6 using iOS 8. It appears to need a "compatibility fix".

Read the title. Please fix it. Please please please please please please please please fix it.

I think it needs an update to be compatible with IOS8, because the app kicks me out everytime I click a puzzle!

Where are the 50 new levels in the 7th pack you say are available and checking the answer crashes the app

Since the new update, I cant play this game. The text does not line up properly with the grids. When I zoom into a grid, the text on the top does not appear.

Since the last update, the text does not line up with the grid in the overview, and the top row of text disappears altogether when zoomed into a section.

This is one of my favorite games and now, due the new IOS, doesnt work properly. As others have stated, checking answers crashes the app and while in the game text doesnt always line up. Hope its fixed soon.
